Our luxurious self contained Shepherds huts are cute and quirky. One has a very comfy king size cabin bed and the other a very comfy standard double bed. Both are equipped with small kitchenettes for basic meal preparation including a microwave, fridge, single hob and dinette, en-suite shower room and loo, tv with freeview and a wood burning stove (and conventional heating too).
There is an outside seating area, garden and views of the field. Three steps take you up to the Hideaway’s attractive stable door. Decor is modern but nostalgic with real wood floor, curved ceiling and country kitchenette. Ideal for an escape away for 1 person or 2.
Dog Friendly
We welcome one well behaved dog in the Shepherds Hut with you. We do ask that you keep them off the furniture and not to leave them unattended and to keep your pup on a lead while on site (There is a dog off lead area by the river and plenty of walks nearby). There is a small supplement for your furbaby – contact us for more info.

With electric hook up & a big firepit included. The toilet/shower blocks are inside, making them warm. Clean & I didn't queue for anything once. They have canoe hire & a river/canal at the end of the site, which all vistors have access too. We took a canoe into March, had a few pints, lunch, paddled back, absolute bliss. This will keep me coming back. Wasn't anywhere near as strenuous as I thought it would be & was absolutley idlyic on the water. Our toddler spotted all manner of birds, animals, insects, fish & we even stopped to pick some fat balckberries too. We had a cracking breakfast on Sunday morning, for a bargain price, they even offered a plantbased/vegan breakfast too. It was hearty & delicious. Our toddler had a wonderful time, running free all weekend. She loved picking berries & flowers from the hedge rows, stealing tomatoes from the gardens (sorry!) & chasing Jaffa the cat round. The canal/river is gated off, so kids can't accidentally wander off & the main road is also gated, so they can't wander into the road.
